THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE BLOOD OF CHRIST TO A CHRISTIAN
GENESIS 9:1,4 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them:....."But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
LEVITICUS 3:17 'This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.'"
LEVITICUS 7:26-27 26 'Moreover you shall not eat any blood in any of your dwellings, whether of bird or beast. 27 'Whoever eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people.'"
LEVITICUS 17:10-14 10 'And whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11 'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.' 12 "Therefore I said to the children of Israel, 'No one among you shall eat blood, nor shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood,' 13 "And whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, who hunts and catches any animal or bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust; 14 "for it is the life of all flesh. LEVITICUS 19:26 'You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor shall you practice divination or soothsaying.
DEUTERONOMY 12:16 "Only you shall not eat the blood; you shall pour it on the earth like water.

LEVITICUS 16:1-2,3,14-16,19 1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses after
the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered profane fire
before the Lord, and died; 2 and the Lord said to Moses: "Tell
Aaron your brother not to come at simply any time into the Holy
Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark,
lest he die;... 3 "Thus Aaron shall come into the Holy Place: with
the blood of a young bull as a sin offering, and of a ram as a
burnt offering. 14 "He shall take some of the blood of the bull
and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east
side; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the
blood with his finger seven times. 15 "Then he shall kill the goat
of the sin offering, which is for the people, bring its blood
inside the veil, do with that blood as he did with the blood of
the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy
seat. 16 "So shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of
the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their
transgressions, for all their sins;... 19 "Then he shall sprinkle
some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, cleanse it,
and sanctify it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

HEBREW 9:22 And according to the law almost all things are purged with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
